The open space in our new home is finally being filled with cabinets. The stucco has gone up, windows and doors all open and close. Closets are full with shelves, and the fresh smell of paint is punjent in the air!!!
Howevever, the past few months have tested the one thing which God knows is a struggle for our family...patience. Our take charge personas and hard work ethic has no effect in the realm we know very well as home construction. With this being our second home we are building, you would think the process would bring a sense of "been there, done that". On the contrary, the second time around has been a journey we pray we do not have to take again. God brings power to the weak, and strength to the powerless. We rely on the Lord and rest in His strength. Lord willing we will be in our new home in June and the unpacking begins. The end is in sight! David prayed this prayer which we claim: "Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all." ~I Chron. 29:12
