Just wanted to let everyone know of Dylans progress. For those of you who did not know, we noticed a lump near Dylan's scrotum and immediately saught medical treatment. After tests and mulptiple appointments we were told he had a hernia, and would require surgery. Surgery went very well, and the sergeon repaired a large hernia and drained any excessive fluid in the area. We were told this is common in pre-mature infants and this should not be a problem in the future. We had a post-op appointment last Friday and the physician was very pleased with his healing and gave him a clean bill of health. The swelling subsided, and he does not anticipate any further complications now or in the future. How great is our God? Dylan is very thankful his privates are not on display as it has been the last few weeks. It is amazing when we struggle, and are week, God is always there, and so was our family, friends, and church. We want to thank all of you who have been in prayer and have helped in so many ways, you are truly special.
"Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple. For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock."
(Psalm 27:3-5)
